5 minute overview of a content marketing platform.

Hi this is Seamus Walsh from Vazt I want to give you an overview of the Vazt content marketing platform. We are looking at the product master. Within the product master you are able to set up your products that you sell to your customers. The fields are associated with product name, product codes, a product category and product types. This allows you a lot of flexibility in setting up products based upon your requirements.

We also have the ability to create articles. In the article database there are several types, we have the ability to create a homepage based upon an open source editor. We also allow for the creation of a news release or press release, which goes into a separate file and aids in Google organic search results.

We have the ability to put articles either on a homepage free site or behind a firewall with a registration or a registration with credit card is required.

You may know my background is in research publishing and at a research publishing company like Gartner they would publish research articles and also field inquiries. What we have here is the basis of experts a person at an organization that can be fielded questions and/or has to respond by some sort of document.

Social membership is for the people who signed up for your services: to read your blog, get your newsletter. There are several different types of people and your social network, those are user-defined and include multiple types of membership i.e. free or paid.

The ability to interface to a Word Press blog is built in to the platform. We have the ability to create newsletters and the newsletters can be in HTML or plain text. Subscribers subscribe to the newsletter and you’re able to send it out with various options.

Coming from research publishing, polls and what we call over here online surveys are important. These allow us to ask questions to the membership and we are able to get information from them based upon visualization of poll results. Again completely user-defined.

Solution pages allow your company to have separate pages for each product or product group you’re selling. For example your organization may have a user page. This allows the real estate can be shared across all of your organization.

We are now looking at the internal user tab. This is the functionality where we assigned what key people can access. In this particular case at vast we have a salesperson access end and we had a super admin. Salespeople only get access to certain modules. Just to go over the modules that we covered we looked at the newsletter the poll the solution pages, etc. The point is the internal user has access to certain functionality.

No logo here is important, the reason why it is important is because it can be branded to your particular organization. It is literally a flip of a switch, very simple functionality but allows you to brand your colors, your logo etc.

Workflow is a little more sophisticated, workflow sets up an inquiry. An example, a customer inquiry comes in, the person does not know how to answer the question it gets passed to an expert and that creates a workflow process. That’s it if you are interested in learning more please contact me.
